Game Camp

Game Camp: Friday May 11, 1pm, ICT Theatre 1

This coming Friday MUCSA will be running Game Camp, an event that was first run in Canada about game development. The focus is on learning how to develop games for Windows Vista and Xbox360 using XNA Game Studio Express.

To kick off the event, we have a guest who runs Respawn LAN, one of the biggest LANs in Melbourne - he'll give us some information about how to attend the next session and a brief overview of the Australian gaming industry. Following this is a demonstration of XNA that will be followed by a prize giveaway. Prizes include: PC Games, T-Shirts, Microsoft Certified Professional Exam Vouchers, Lanyards and more.

Finally we have a special guest Game Developer joining us for refreshments who will be answering questions about his experience in the games industry and how to launch a career as a game developer.
