Eligibility
You must be a Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics or Engineering student currently studying at the University of Melbourne to acquire software through this program.
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
Windows 7 is the just released Microsoft Windows operating system; combining the advanced usability features of Vista with the wide compatability of Windows XP to bring you the fastest and simplest to use system available today.

Microsoft Windows Vista Business
Windows Vista is the previous version of the Microsoft operating system. Includes features such as improved security, faster, more efficient searching, and a new interface.

Windows XP is the same version of Windows installed on all the lab computers at the university. It provides a stable experience, as well as compatibility with just about every device known. Also available: Tablet Edition, 64-bit Edition

Ubuntu is the latest open source operating system; combining the security of linux with the user experience of other OSs. It comes with a range of alternatives for commonly used applications, such as office, email, and web browsing.
