200 Level
From MUCSA Wiki
All subjects at this level are mandatory for CS/SE students. 252 and 253 are good options for people who want to expand their programming abilities. 254 and 255 are too specialist for this purpose, and 254 relies on having done the former two. Computer Engineering students do not need to take 433-255 (but do if they want to do AI or Databases later). Arts or Science students interested in Theory of Computation or Logic may take 255 only.
Subjects
433-252 - Software Engineering Principles and Tools The basics of how UNIX works and hacking around with it.
433-253 - Algorithms and Data Structures All the basic algorithms and data structures you will use every day for 300-level subjects.
433-254 - Software Design This teaches OOP, UML and how to design software properly.
433-255 - Logic and Computation Introduction to logic programming and Theory of Computation.
